Roma captain Francesco Totti claims he wanted a team like Shakhtar Donetsk in the Last 16 of the Champions League.
The talismanic playmaker has fond memories of beating the Ukrainian side 4-0 in the group stages in 2006.
Interviewed on the Roma Channel, he said: "Shakhtar are one of the teams that we wanted.
"They are less difficult than the usual [teams we draw], but Shakhtar will be difficult to face also because the climate will be very cold."
Roma's director of sport Daniele Prade was also pleased with the draw.
"Let's not be hypocrites. It's a verdict that we like even if we must have respect. Perhaps in the first game we will have an athletic advantage.
"They have a cunning Coach, a fox like Mircea Lucescu but we care about making it through to the next round and hope to be in the best form at that moment."
