Relegation-threatened Novara have admitted that they are on the verge of signing Giuseppe Mascara from Napoli.
“We are close,” Novara sporting director Mauro Pederzoli told Itasportpress. “However, a full agreement hasn’t been reached yet.
“There are a few differences that need to be reduced even if we are only talking about a few details.”
The fantasista has been paired with a January move to the Stadio Piola outfit after struggling to get a game at the San Paolo this term.
Mascara, 32, joined Napoli last season after an impressive spell at Catania. He’s played in seven games so far this term across all competitions, scoring just the one goal.
