Cesena have admitted that Antonio Candreva could join Champions League outfit Napoli by the end of the month.
The midfielder has been paired with a transfer to the San Paolo and the Stadio Manuzzi outfit have failed to rule out such a move.
“I can say that there is the concrete possibility that Candreva will go to Napoli in exchange for Mario Santana,” sporting director Lorenzo Minotti noted.
The 24-year-old moved to the Seahorses on loan in the summer after returning to parent club Udinese following stints at Juventus and Parma.
Candreva, an Italian international, is a versatile midfielder who can be used on the wing, in the middle or as a Trequartista.
Santana, meanwhile, joined the Azzurri in the summer on a free transfer after his contract at Fiorentina expired.
