The agent of Nicola Leali has confirmed that a move to Juventus hasn’t been finalised as Manchester City join the queue for his services.
It was believed that the Old Lady had basically wrapped up a deal for the Brescia goalkeeper, but the teenager is still available.
“The situation with Juventus hasn’t stopped,” representative Graziano Battistini told calciomercato.it on Wednesday.
“Talks are continuing, but I don’t know where the end is. It could be close though.”
Leali, born in 1993, has also been linked with Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Sporting Lisbon. Now Manchester City are said to be keen.
“There are no borders in football anymore,” Battistini continued. “The boy is just looking for an important project.
“It’s only normal that these types of rumours are being heard because Nicola has always done well when he has played.
“It’s clear that City and other important clubs rate the player, but that doesn’t mean that they have made a concrete move for him.”
