Lazio have officially signed Uruguayan striker Emiliano Alfaro from Liverpool Montevideo with a contract until 2016.
The deal for the forward had been struck last week, but this evening his contract was deposited with the authorities and a note posted on the club website.
“S.S. Lazio officialise the signing of Emiliano Alfaro Toscano from Liverpool F.C. Montevideo.”
The 23-year-old hitman has been in Italy since Monday and already had several training sessions under Coach Edy Reja.
It is not yet clear whether or not Alfaro will stay at Lazio for the rest of this season or be loaned elsewhere to gain experience.
