Cesena tactician Daniele Arrigoni has admitted that he’s asked the club for Napoli winger Mario Alberto Santana.
“I really like him, a lot,” the Coach stated. “He is one of the players who I have requested that the club signs this month.”
Santana, who can play in a variety of attacking positions, is available for transfer after failing to break into the plans of Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri.
Acquired in the summer on a Bosman transfer from Fiorentina, he’s started just four Serie A games this term.
Rumour has it that Santana could arrive at the Stadio Manuzzi in exchange for versatile midfielder Antonio Candreva.
“I don’t know if Candreva will stay with us,” Arrigoni continued. “I’ll just leave the transfer market up to the club.”
