Roberto Donadoni is ready for his debut on the Parma bench in a relegation dogfight with Siena. “I can’t wait!”
The Coach was fired by Cagliari in August, but given a second chance to work in the 2011-12 campaign when replacing Franco Colomba this week.
“I can’t wait!” smiled Donadoni ahead of his first Stadio Tardini match. “I feel positive and am very enthusiastic about this.
“I saw the same spirit in the squad during the last few days. The objective is to maintain this fire, which is understandable straight after a change of management, and keep it going right to the end.
“We are still working on the tactics. I mainly focus on our own characteristics and motivation, then of course there will be something on the weak points of our opponents.
“In all honesty, I don’t believe Siena will come here to take the initiative and pin us back into our own half. We’ve got to attack with intelligence and balance, dealing with the moments when we’re under pressure.”
