Gennaro Gattuso has fired up the fans during the derby by claiming “Carlos Tevez can still come to Milan.”
The midfielder is in the stands for tonight’s game with Inter and gave an interview to Stadio Sprint.
“Tevez can still come to Milan through a similar formula to the one that brought Mark Van Bommel here,” said Gattuso.
Manchester City rejected their offer to take Tevez on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
They were ready to sell Alexandre Pato in order to raise €35m, but on Thursday the Brazilian turned down a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
“President Silvio Berlusconi was decisive in the Pato affair. After all, he’s only 22 years old and has scored 50 goals…
“I was also not remotely surprised that Massimiliano Allegri signed a contract extension. That was obviously going to happen.”
