Marco Materazzi has urged a shock January transfer strategy. “If I were Inter, I’d immediately sign Alexandre Pato” from Milan!
The Treble-winning defender, who was also a key figure in Italy’s 2006 World Cup triumph, spoke to RMC Radio about the all-San Siro battle for Carlos Tevez.
“Tevez? If I were Inter, I’d immediately sign Pato,” insisted Materazzi.
“He is one of the strongest strikers in circulation right now. I don’t think Tevez will arrive.”
Last week Pato turned down a €35m offer to join Paris Saint-Germain and President Silvio Berlusconi helped pull the plug on that move.
