Mark Van Bommel is confident that Alexandre Pato will make the difference for Milan after rejecting a January transfer.
The Brazilian snubbed a switch to Paris Saint-Germain after the two clubs had already agreed terms for the striker.
“We should stop talking about that now,” the Dutch international told Milan Channel. “Pato is staying here with us.
“If he can stay calm and relaxed then you will all see that he will produce some great things,” the former Bayern Munich man noted.
“It was hard for him against Inter on Sunday,” Van Bommel continued. “Inter defended well and it wasn’t easy to find the right kind of space to do damage.”
Pato, 22, has scored just one Serie A goal in 10 appearances for the Diavolo so far during this campaign.
