Guglielmo Stendardo is happy to be working under boss Stefano Colantuono again after completing a move to Atalanta.
“It’s pleasing to find Colantuono here,” the 30-year-old told Tutto Atalanta. “His words of faith in me were nice.”
The two men worked together at Perugia during the 2004-05 campaign when the Umbrian outfit were in Serie B.
“I would like to thank the club for bringing me here,” added the defender who spent the 2007-08 term on loan at Juventus.
“I can assure everyone that I will give my best for this shirt. I want to re-launch myself and I have everything I need here to do that.”
Stendardo has joined the Nerazzurri on loan for the rest of the season after failing to make an appearance for Lazio this term.
