Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini blasted his “ectoplasm of a squad” for their draw at bottom of the table Bari.
The Rosanero were pegged back to a 1-1 result at the Stadio San Nicola today despite Marco Rossi's dismissal after half-an-hour.
“We certainly dropped two points rather than gained one today,” he told Mediagol.
“I saw a terrible performance from my team and from the Coach. I am disappointed and bitter. I didn't like the attitude of the side, as it's unthinkable that we could fumble the lead against 10 men.
“We cannot even consider challenging for the big targets if we play like this. It was the worst performance of the year from Palermo.
“I am a little worried, as I see a team that isn't put out on the pitch properly. This morning I saw Lazio and Udinese play each other and they were proper teams with a capital T.
“Instead, Palermo today were the ectoplasm of a squad.”
