Catania’s deal for Brazilian star Ilsinho appears to have collapsed. “We are tired of waiting for Internacional to resolve the paperwork.”
The Sicilians had confirmed an agreement for the talented midfielder two weeks ago, but the move has still not been completed.
“There have to be developments this week or everything will be abandoned,” general manager Pietro Lo Monaco told Itasportpress.
“We are tired of waiting for Internacional to resolve the paperwork problems associated with his loan to Sao Paolo. As far as we are concerned, we’ve reached all the necessary agreements.”
The Catania chief also commented on Milan’s reported renewal of interest for Maxi Lopez, who has turned down a move to Fulham.
“The issue regarding Milan and Maxi Lopez is starting to get irritating. There are three realistic options for the Argentine’s future, but I’m not going to reveal any of them.”
