Stefano Okaka is overjoyed at his transfer from Roma to Parma. “It feels like a big family here.”
The striker joined the Ducali on loan last week, the latest of many temporary spells after Brescia and Fulham.
“Right from the start of my career, I have always played alongside older teammates,” said the former Under-21 international.
“Growing up, though, things change and you have to keep an eye on technique, which I am perhaps lacking in.
“Recently I hadn’t found much space at Roma, but trained hard all the time as if I was about to step on to the field.
“Now I feel the right maturity to do well here with the Parma jersey. I am at Roberto Donadoni’s complete disposal and found a very humble atmosphere, so it feels like a big family here.”
