Promising Inter defender Marco Davide Faraoni has urged the media to not liken him to any other player.
The 20-year-old is being labelled by some as the ‘new Douglas Maicon’, but the Italian insists he is his own man.
“I’m Faraoni and I’m not the same as anyone else,” stated the young defender to Sky Sport Italia. “I have my own personality, my character and my way of playing.”
The stopper has made 11 appearances for the Nerazzurri so far this season across four competitions. He has one League goal.
“You have to believe in yourself,” Faraoni added when asked about what you need to emerge in the game.
“You always have to give your best and make so many sacrifices because you reap what you sow…”
