Lecce have sold Ruben Olivera to Fiorentina, while the Stadio Via Del Mare outfit have netted Valeri Bojinov.
The Uruguayan midfielder had his medical in Florence this morning and the Viola have now confirmed that they have signed him on a permanent basis.
Meanwhile, Lecce boss Serse Cosmi has a new option in attack after the Bulgarian international returned to the club.
Bojinov was signed by Lecce as a youngster in 2001 and he left the southern outfit in January 2005 after Fiorentina handed over €15m.
The former Juventus player arrives at Lecce on loan from Sporting Lisbon, the club he only joined in the summer from Parma.
