Italian international Angelo Ogbonna has officially extended his Torino contract until 2016, despite interest from Serie A’s top sides.
The defender had been a major transfer target for the likes of Juventus, Milan, Inter, Roma, Fiorentina and Palermo.
His current contractual situation meant he could’ve gone on a free transfer in 2013.
However, this evening it was announced Ogbonna has put pen to paper on a new deal tying him to the Granata until June 2016.
His wages will increase exponentially plus performance-related objectives.
