Sebastian Giovinco of Parma will become a first team regular for the Italian national side, says Amauri.
The Brazilian-born Italian international knows the pint-sized attacker well after playing alongside him at the Tardini and with Juventus.
Parma and Fiorentina will meet this weekend and the striker, who joined the Viola last month, is a big fan of the Atomic Ant.
“Giovinco is a talent, without a doubt,” the 31-year-old told the Corriere dello Sport. “I’m sure that he will become a reference point for the national side.”
The 24-year-old Giovinco has broken into the plans of Italy boss Cesare Prandelli, although he’s mainly been used as a substitute so far.
In his six caps to date, he has started just one tie – the 3-0 Euro 2012 qualifier against Northern Ireland. He has yet to score.
