Alberto Gilardino's representative has cooled reports that the Fiorentina ace will join Juventus after Christmas.
The Italian international has been associated with the Old Lady as they look to strengthen their attacking options in January.
Although Juve have insisted that they don't have the funds to make a significant signing, there is talk that they could offer the Viola Amauri in return for Gila.
However, when asked whether such a deal had anything to do with reality, Gilardino's agent didn't seem convinced.
"I think an exchange between Juventus and Fiorentina involving Gilardino and Amauri is improbable," noted Giuseppe Bozzo.
"It's too soon to discuss Gilardino's position and we'll just have to wait and see what happens in the January transfer market."
