Juventus President Andrea Agnelli believes Milan's current status as League leaders mean that they are the team to beat in the New Year.
Milan have a three-point lead at the top of Serie A, but lost their last match of 2010 at home to title rivals Roma, giving the teams around them hope.
Speaking to Rai Sport, Agnelli said: "There is a lot of balance in the League today.
"We have a Milan side in front who are having a great season. Napoli are behind them and then Lazio, us and Roma, and we mustn't forget Inter who have just won the Club World Cup. They will certainly have something to say.
"We are concentrating on ourselves and go out on the pitch every time with the desire and will to win," he concluded.
Meanwhile, Juventus are celebrating after Alessandro Del Piero's wife gave birth to a third child.
