Stefano Colantuono’s Atalanta were able to destroy Roma last week and he argues they can pick apart Udinese too. “They do have weak points.”
The Orobici thrashed Roma 4-1 and hope to cause another upset at the Stadio Friuli this afternoon.
“It’s reductive to continue calling Udinese a provincial club,” said the Coach. “We are doing important things and want consistency, as after the Roma game we returned to being the side we always were.
“My fear is that too much euphoria can rob us of concentration. The lads were fantastic in the last match, but we must continue with our heads down and it’s my job to ensure we get back to normality.”
Udinese are flying high in Serie A and have only failed to win only three games on home turf this season.
“Everyone has weak points,” noted Colantuono. “Udinese are very strong and play good football, but if Atalanta play with focus and sacrifice, then we can cause them problems. We must step on to the field with respect and humility.
“I have not yet decided whether we will play with three at the back or a four-man defence.”
