Juan has underlined his commitment to stay at Roma even amid interest from back home in Brazil.
Flamengo have expressed an interest in luring the 31-year-old defender back to where it all started.
Juan came through the ranks at Flamengo before joining Bayer Leverkusen in 2002.
"Of course I would like to return," Juan said. "I have been thinking about going back ever since I left Flamengo.
"But I have a contract until 2013 and I intend to respect it until the end.
"If at that moment Flamengo's doors are still open, then I would love to return," he concluded.
