Gennaro Gattuso has been given the all clear to return to competitive action, while Milan may also soon have Clarence Seedorf and Kevin Prince Boateng back.
Veteran Gattuso hasn’t played since the opening day of the season because of an optical nerve problem in his eye.
The 2006 World Cup winner underwent numerous tests on Tuesday and was finally given the green light to play again.
However, Gattuso won’t be eligible for Champions League ties as he was omitted from the UEFA list.
Meanwhile, Seedorf and Boateng are being tipped to be ready for the away game at Parma on the weekend of March 18.
