Gennaro Gattuso’s return to the playing field has been postponed yet again due to his medication, confirmed Milan this evening.
The midfielder had returned to training last week and was hoping to make his first official appearance since September.
“AC Milan announce that Rino Gattuso cannot yet be called up for an official match due to a problem with the dosage of the medication he is taking,” read the statement.
“There will be a progressive reduction of the dosage that will then allow Gattuso to return to competition.”
The veteran has been out of action since September due to the paralysis of the optic nerve, giving him sight problems.
