Morgan De Sanctis will sign a new contract at Napoli before the start of next season, his agent has suggested.
The goalkeeper is only tied to the outfit until June 2013, but he will be offered a fresh deal despite being 34-years-old.
“His contract renewal will be something that we will look at before the summer,” Andrea Pastorello told Radio CRC.
“Napoli’s progression to the Italian Cup Final is a starting point for the club and I think that President Aurelio De Laurentiis will want to strengthen the squad and keep pillars like Morgan.”
The former Pescara, Juventus and Udinese goalkeeper was signed by the Azzurri in 2009 after his spells at Sevilla and Galatasaray.
The Italian international has made it clear in recent months that he would like to end his career with the Naples-based outfit.
