Fabrizio Miccoli was furious with his Palermo teammates after a draw with Udinese. “Some of them were strolling out there.”
The captain was caught on camera expressing his anger following the final whistle of a 1-1 result last night.
“We were coming off a difficult moment and played well against a team fighting for third place,” he later told Sky Sport Italia.
“I am very disappointed by the result, but not the performance. Was I tense? I always talk a lot during the game, but to be honest I don’t even remember saying that.
“Maybe someone lacked the right attitude, but we sort these things out between ourselves in the locker room.
“This is a transitional year where we are struggling more than expected, but it’s normal after changing as much as we have this season with different Coaches and sporting directors.”
