Atalanta boss Stefano Colantuono is confident that young striker Manolo Gabbiadini is a star of the future.
The 20-year-old Italian international scored his first Serie A goal at the weekend in his side’s 2-0 win over Bologna.
“Gabbiadini has the future on his side,” the tactician declared. “He needs to continue doing what he has been doing.
“However, he has to be allowed to grow with calmness because he has the qualities to become a great attacker.”
The Bergamo youth product has actually appeared in 17 Serie A games this season, but he’s been limited to just 534 minutes.
He was handed a spot in the side given that injuries have sidelined German Denis and Guido Marilungo.
