Alessandro Del Piero has addressed fans today but refuses to clarify ongoing rumours about his future after this season.
The 37-year-old, who scored at the weekend against Inter, has barely featured in the League under Antonio Conte, whilst President Andrea Agnelli seemingly confirmed his departure this summer by announcing in December that 2011-12 would be the player’s last season with the club.
Speculation through the weeks has since been of what the club’s record goal-scorer will decide to do in June, but in talking to fans via his official Facebook page, the No 10 was less than concise in his intentions.
“Is my farewell arranged? It is not the right word,” he posted on Monday.
“Last year I did what I had to do by signing a blank contract.
“I’m not thinking about my future, my future is Napoli [who Juve play next weekend]. I want every second of this wonderful adventure, then you will see.”
