Stevan Jovetic is a slight doubt for Fiorentina’s game against Chievo this weekend after missing training today.
The Montenegrin sensation didn’t take part in the session on Thursday because he is suffering with a fever.
Viola medics are monitoring his condition in the hope that he will be available to take on the Flying Donkeys on Sunday.
Jovetic, 22, has been Fiorentina’s most vital player this season thanks to his 12 goals in 22 League games so far.
The club’s next highest scorer in the squad is Alessio Cerci who has managed just four strikes in Serie A since the summer.
