Antonio Cassano has made his Milan debut in a 2-1 friendly victory against Fabio Cannavaro's Al-Ahli in Dubai.
Although his transfer from Sampdoria is not yet official, the forward has been training with his new club for the past few days and started today's friendly match at the Rashid Stadium.
Cassano had not played for two months due to his legal battle with Samp, so is not at full fitness, but he and Alexandre Pato played well in the circumstances.
Clarence Seedorf started behind Cassano and Pato with Thiago Silva pushed up into midfield for the occasion.
Cassano set up a good chance for Seedorf early on, then Massimo Oddo drilled just wide. Seedorf opened the scoring just before half-time when Pato pounced on a defensive error to thread through for the Dutchman.
Coach Massimiliano Allegri made numerous changes after the break with Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in attack.
Robinho's cross from the right gave the winning goal to 18-year-old Giacomo Beretta's header.
However, the Brazilian was unlucky, as he clattered into a television camera and had to come off for treatment.
Late on Al-Ahli got a consolation goal with Hassan's screamer into the top corner, but there was tension at the final whistle after Ibra's rough tackle on Hassan.
