Adriano will apparently return to Roma this morning six days later than originally scheduled.
The 28-year-old should have been back for training before the New Year, but stayed on in Brazil after it emerged that his uncle is ill.
Roma had expressed concern that Adriano wouldn't return to the club, especially in light of what happened during his time at Inter when he went AWOL before asking that his contract be rescinded.
Adriano is reportedly far from happy with a lack of regular first team football at Roma, but reiterated his desire to stay in December even amid interest from Corinthians.
The Brazil international told local reporters last night that Roma were aware of the reasons why he was late for training camp and that it wouldn't be a problem.
