Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici was on a scouting mission at last night’s Champions League game between Chelsea and Benfica.
According to reports in Italy on Thursday, Beppe Marotta’s assistant was paying close attention to four players.
In the Chelsea line-up, Paratici was said to be monitoring defender David Luiz and midfielder Raul Meireles. The latter scored in the 2-1 win.
On the other side of the pitch, Benfica’s costly Argentine midfielder Nicolas Gaitan and Spanish striker Rodrigo Moreno were under observation by the Turin director.
