Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko’s agent has left no room for doubt about his client’s desires this summer: “Moussa wants Roma.”
The versatile 22-year-old midfielder, who can play almost any role in central midfield, is again attracting speculation heading into a transfer window in light of his contribution to Toulouse’s above average performance in Ligue 1 this term.
A player who in the past has reportedly attracted the likes of Lyon, Inter and Tottenham and has previously been valued by the club at €30m is apparently clear on his preferred course of action this summer.
“Moussa wants Roma, they are a great team, a big club,” Sissoko’s agent Bakary Sanogo told Tuttomercatoweb.
“Sissoko wants to play in the Italian League, Roma are a big side, a very important team. Our intention is to move to Italy, and even better to the capital.
“How much will it cost? I am unable to say, these are estimates that pertain to the two clubs, I just want to say that Moussa wants Italy and Roma.”
