Fiorentina fans are feeling more positive after a “constructive” meeting with President Andrea Della Valle. “He’s angry and so are we.”
The Tuscans slid to fourth from bottom and with eight games to go risk relegation from Serie A. This week the ultras turned down the chance to meet with Coach Delio Rossi, but today did accept an invite from Della Valle.
“We saw the President was worried and, above all, angry. So are we. It was a constructive meeting,” revealed Filippo Pucci, President of the Viola Club Co-ordination Centre.
The meeting took place at the Stadio Franchi ahead of tomorrow’s big match against Milan at San Siro.
“It was an important meeting and a confrontation that gives us confidence. Everyone clarified their intentions and the Della Valle family will not drop Fiorentina,” added Stefano Sartoni, another ultras representative.
