Relegation threatened Lecce have signed Nenad Tomovic from Genoa and are looking good to net Napoli's Fabiano Santacroce.
The Gialloblu are in danger of being relegated given that they have collected just 15 points in their 17 games so far.
With the worst defensive record in the League thanks to 34 goals conceded, the club have taken immediate action in the January transfer market.
Tomovic, born in 1987, has joined the Via Del Mare club on loan from Genoa for the rest of the season.
He could soon be followed by Santacroce who is desperate for regular football after losing his place in the Napoli side.
"I can confirm that negotiations for Santacroce's proposed move to Lecce are going well," said the stopper's agent Claudio Pasqualin.
