Udinese have officially signed Swiss Under-21 international Silvan Widmer via their satellite club in Spain Granada.
Both clubs are owned by the Pozzo family and Granada are often used as a testing ground for young talents before they come to Serie A.
The transfer was announced by Widmer’s current side Aarau and he will wear the Granada jersey from July 10 before progressing to Udinese.
Widmer is a winger who only turned 19 last month and the latest in a series of young players scouted by the Friulani.
