Inter “have never even considered Kaka or Ronaldinho” and are unlikely to make any more January signings, said director Marco Branca.
The technical director attended today's Press conference presenting defender Andrea Ranocchia following the move from Genoa.
Recent weeks have been filled with speculation new Coach Leonardo will bring Kaka to Inter for a reunion.
“We have never even considered Kaka,” assured Branca. “We never gave this theory any serious consideration.
“As for today's rumours we wanted Ronaldinho, that's just newspapers trying to fill in space rather than any actual facts. Really, the thought of looking for Ronaldinho never even entered our minds.”
As for Udinese starlet Alexis Sanchez, Branca was a little more forthcoming.
“Our rapport with Udinese goes back 23 years. It's true Inter are interested, but so are other teams.
“Besides, our transfer strategy starts in June and for now we are going to stay as we are.”
