Atalanta goalkeeper Andrea Consigli is wanted by a host of bigger clubs, the player’s agent has revealed.
The former Under-21 international has impressed in Bergamo this term and a summer switch is a real possibility.
“Consigli is now a mature player,” Andrea D’Amico told Radio Lombardia. “He’s a great young goalkeeper who has demonstrated his growth.
“He’s one of the best goalkeepers in Serie A right now and Atalanta will be happy to negotiate his sale with interested clubs.
“Which sides? Certainly those of a high level.”
Consigli, 25, was born in Milan. He’s been in the Atalanta first team squad since 2004 and returned to Bergamo in 2008 after loans spells at Sambenedettese and Rimini.
The 2008 Olympic games shot-stopper has played in 31 games for the Nerazzurri so far this season.
