Catania are confident that they will be able to keep hold of boss Vincenzo Montella for at least one more campaign.
The former striker has been a revelation in Serie A this season following his summer move from Roma.
“I know that Montella’s phone often rings, but it’s a waste of time,” club President Antonino Pulvirenti stated.
“I know that a lot of clubs want him, but I think he will stay here with us.
“Montella is tied to the Catania bench by a contract until 2013 and I believe that he will respect that agreement.”
The 37-year-old former Sampdoria and Roma forward has been linked with Napoli, Inter and even Lazio.
