Ezequiel Lavezzi is reportedly out of Napoli’s home game with struggling Novara due to a thigh strain and he will have to undergo a scan.
The player has been absent from recent training sessions due to the reported discomfort in his left thigh, which in light of having not eased up, means that Walter Mazzarri must now plan for the weekend without him.
Sky report that the Argentine is also set to undergo a scan on the injury, to understand the extent of any damage done. This is not the same thigh that the player injured at the back end of 2011 that ruled him out for a month.
