Gigi Del Neri insists Gianluigi Buffon will have to wait a little longer before making his comeback for Juventus.
The Italy international goalkeeper has yet to play this season after undergoing major back surgery in the summer.
Buffon recently returned to training and some reports claimed he would be ready for Thursday's encounter with Parma.
However, Del Neri feels Buffon needs more time to fully recuperate, meaning his comeback could be postponed until Juventus' clash with Catania in the Coppa Italia on January 13.
"Through speaking with Buffon we have rescheduled his comeback for the Coppa Italia. It's the right path to take and the right time too," Del Neri said.
"The Coppa Italia will be an important game both in which to verify his fitness and for me to decide the future of Juventus' goal.
"At the end of the transfer window both Storari and Buffon will still be at Juventus.
"The club has no intention to deprive itself of either of the two."
