Stefano Pioli says he expects to still be in charge of Bologna next season after masterminding their probable survival.
Pioli, sacked by Palermo on the eve of the new season just weeks after his arrival from Chievo, replaced Pierpaolo Bisoli in October.
The club were at the bottom of the table back then, but now, with five games left, they are 11th and six points above the drop zone.
“I still have another year left on my contract,” Pioli stated when asked about his future. “I’m happy in Bologna.
“I will hold talks with the club officials, but I don’t think there will be any problems,” concluded the 46-year-old.
They drew 1-1 at Milan on Sunday afternoon.
