Parma are practically safe, but Roberto Donadoni won’t hear of relaxation when facing Lecce. “This is a decisive encounter and I won’t stand for distractions.”
MacDonald Mariga and Cristian Zaccardo are out of today’s trip to the Stadio Via del Mare against a Lecce side desperate to escape the bottom three.
“This is a decisive encounter and I won’t stand for distractions,” warned Coach Donadoni.
“If the positive results we have achieved recently give us a certain degree of safety in the table, then it would be a horrible mistake to let that affect our performance. It is a delicate and difficult game, which for them is like a last chance saloon.
“The stadium will be fired up and we must focus only on ourselves without letting us get distracted from the environment we are in.
“We’re facing an opponent that is on our level and it represents an important test, as it can teach us whether we have truly grown and matured.”
