Thiago Motta has no regrets about bringing an end to his Inter career in favour of a January move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazilian-born Italian international joined the French outfit at the start of this year when the two clubs reportedly agreed an €11m deal.
“Thiago Motta is happy,” agent Dario Canovi told calciomercato.it. “He’s doing really well and is always amongst the best players at the end of games.
“It is never easy to leave a team like Inter, but he is content with the decision that he made.”
The 29-year-old, formerly of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, joined the Beneamata in 2008 from Genoa when he put pen to paper on a four-year contract.
Inter’s reluctance in offering him a new deal at San Siro was one of the reasons cited by the player for his Nerazzurri exit.
