Andre Villas Boas “has made no decision, but would be honoured to train such an important team” as Roma, said his agent.
This morning Portuguese media widely reported that the Giallorossi already had a deal in place with the former Porto and Chelsea tactician to replace under-fire Luis Enrique.
“An agreement between Villas Boas and Roma? For now I cannot confirm anything, Andre is on vacation and has made no decision,” agent Carlos Goncalves told Rete Sport.
“It’s too early to talk about this, but Villas Boas would be honoured to train such an important team.”
Before joining Chelsea last summer, the Portuguese Coach had already been linked with the jobs at Roma and Inter, but were unwilling to pay the buy-out clause of his Porto contract.
