Andre Villas-Boas “already has something in his hands” with Roma, suggests Valencia’s spokesman after their attempts to sign him failed.
The former Chelsea and Porto manager has been heavily linked with the Giallorossi bench, as Luis Enrique seems set to move on at the end of the season.
“I know that Valencia contacted Villas-Boas, but negotiations did not progress because his entourage already had something in their hands,” spokesman Riccardo Lazzari told Rete Sport radio.
“At the moment, I cannot say if Villas-Boas already has contact with Roma or other clubs. The only certainty is that someone preceded Valencia.”
