Milan striker Pippo Inzaghi has sent a message to Fabio Quagliarella, his counterpart at Juventus, after he suffered a season-ending knee injury.
Inzaghi is in the same boat as Quagliarella after he also ruptured the ligaments in his knee earlier in the campaign.
Writing on Milan's official website, the veteran goal poacher wished Quagliarella a speedy recovery.
"Yesterday I soon understood as soon as I saw the footage that unfortunately Fabio's injury was like mine.
"I would like to say that I am very sorry for him. I wish Fabio good luck.
"The first days will be difficult for him, then step by step everything will fall into place, just as soon as he no longer needs crutches.
"Fabio will understand during his injury lay off that such a trauma in sport is difficult to take, but also that the real things in life are really something else.
"I am close to him. He'll get stronger as the days pass and more upbeat. Forza Fabio!"
