Ex-Inter Coach Claudio Ranieri is one of the candidates to take over at Fiorentina next season along with director Gabriele Oriali.
The Viola are looking for a new tactician after firing both Sinisa Mihajlovic and Delio Rossi, while caretaker manager Vincenzo Guerini has made it clear he doesn’t want the job full-time.
Ranieri is available after he was sacked by Inter in March and it would be a return to Florence, as he won the Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup here from 1993 to 1997.
He wouldn’t be the only former Inter man at Fiorentina, as the club is also in negotiations with Oriali to become their new director of sport after Pantaleo Corvino’s contract was allowed to expire.
