Catania Coach Vincenzo Montella has fuelled reports of an imminent move to Roma by cancelling tomorrow’s press conference.
The tactician has been heavily linked with a return to the Olimpico as replacement for Luis Enrique now that the Spaniard’s departure is official. [12]
He was due to answer questions from the media ahead of Sunday night’s final match of the season against Udinese.
However, it was today announced there will not be a press conference on Saturday.
It’s a surprising move, considering the match is very high-profile, as a win over Udinese would blow the race for Champions League qualification wide open.
