Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni is welcoming transfer links with Ezequiel Lavezzi of Napoli and Siena’s Mattia Destro.
Reports suggest that the Nerazzurri are lining up a bid for the Argentine forward [12], while Destro – formerly of Inter – is also a possible target.
“Our directors are already working to get Inter back to great levels and I can reveal that some negotiations are well advanced,” Stramaccioni told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Destro has had a great season and he has demonstrated his value. Lavezzi, meanwhile, has shown this term that he can make a difference on the international stage.”
Lavezzi has a €31m release clause inserted into his contract at the San Paolo, but the club are apparently preparing a player plus cash bid.
Siena ace Destro, part of Italy’s 32-man Euro 2012 squad [13], is co-owned with Genoa and has also been paired with Juventus.
